Lesa Nichols has spent over three decades guiding a vast array of clients toward improved performance by applying the principles of the Toyota way of leadership. She is one of the nation’s foremost experts of Toyota Production System, a customer and employee-centric operations management system.
As a key leader for Toyota North America, Nichols led teams to analyze and solve the toughest operational problems within Toyota. Her focus and skills evolved to include designing and implementing solutions to system-wide operations problems.
Assignments within Toyota included serving as a production manager in the Power Train operation at the plant located in Georgetown, Kentucky. She also held leadership roles in Toyota’s TPS centers and the North American Production Control.
Prior to launching her own consulting firm, Lesa spent four years guiding clients of the Greater Boston Manufacturing Partnership (GBMP) to successful enterprise level improvements.
Lesa helps companies and organizations understand TPS in both principle and practice. Her existing clients include representatives in the healthcare, automotive, petrochemical and other manufacturing sectors.
